By Air
Cozumel International Airport receives flights from airlines in the United States, Canada and Mexico; as well as light aircraft or helicopters that leave the Playa del Carmen Aerodrome. There are currently direct flights available from Miami, Houston, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Charlotte, Detroit, Minneapolis, Montreal & Toronto as well as direct flights from Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, as well as the Cancun - Cozumel air bridge.
By Sea
The most used means of transportation to reach Cozumel is by ferry that connects the island with Playa del Carmen. These passenger ships operate continuously every hour, the route being approximately 35 minutes. Also available is a car ferry that leaves from Calica located ten minutes from Playa Del Carmen.
