Cozumel is an island full of history that was occupied by Mayans, Spaniards and then pirates.

Cozumel Island Museum
It offers a collection of unusual objects of religious, cultural and historical importance. This museum is located in a historic building that dates back to the 1930s and was one of the first hotels of the destination. It has four exhibition halls where the island's ecosystem is explored, as well as its history from pre-Hispanic times to current times.

Navigation Museum
Located in Punta Sur at the bottom of the lighthouse. This museum testifies to the history of the Mayans, pirates and privateers that furrowed the waters of the Mexican Caribbean.
