From boat trips and catamaran trips, wing diving, snorkeling, paddleboarding or diving into the depths of the sea diving, in Isla Mujeres you can do all kinds of water activities.
 

Snorkeling and scuba diving are the water activities that stand out most, since Isla Mujeres has more than 20 different dive sites, from sunken boats to caves and coral reefs that are the habitat of several marine species, that plunge to depths between 3 and 30 meters, with options for beginners and certified divers. Some of the best dive sites include Bandera Reef, the sunken ships of Juan de la Barrera C-55 and UltraFreeze, the Manchones Reef –home to the Cross of the Bay– , El Farito and the famous Underwater Museum of Art (MUSA), an innovative project designed to counteract the effects of climate change on the oceans. This museum has three different galleries  located in the water surrounding Cancun and Isla Mujeres.
 

Whether during the day, in the evening or at night, take a yacht or catamaran trip around Isla Mujeres coasts, which will take you to some of the best spots to snorkel. You can also soak up the spectacular views and have exquisite food and cocktails onboard. Some boat tours also offer sport fishing as a complementary activity. Some of the species you may find here include marlin, mahi-mahi, sailfish, wahoo, bonito, tuna, pollock, barracuda, among others.
 

So far, Isla Mujeres is the only destination in the Mexican Caribbean where you can do wing diving, a fun activity where you will be able to perform amazing tricks, dive or spin, while being slowly pulled by a boat on a SubWing that consists of two separate wings connected by a swivel. Wing Diving is safe for kids, adults and anyone who can swim, as it doesn´t require previous experience and can be mastered in a matter of minutes.
